WhatsApp is the largest messaging platform in the whole world, over 2 billion people use it every day to communicate with the people in their lives, the messaging platform is extremely important to a lot of people, and that's why we're talking today about an official message that WhatsApp sends to everyone, saying that its users deserve to have their conversations protected, something that not every messaging platform offers.
More than a month ago, WhatsApp started a campaign through which it tries to convince users around the world that it is doing its best to provide encrypted communication for everyone. Those at WhatsApp also say that people express themselves much more freely when they know that their messages cannot be intercepted by others, and that's why they try to offer them only the best experience for communication.

WhatsApp boasts of these efforts to provide only encrypted communications for users around the world, but the reality is that there are already solutions that allow the interception of messages sent through the platform. Moreover, WhatsApp has a great vulnerability when it comes to conversation backups, as they are not encrypted in any way, so anyone who gets them can read all the messages that appear in them.

WhatsApp still tries to convince the world that it offers secure communications, although in reality this does not really happen, and people cannot be sure that whatever they say within the platform is protected. On the other hand, WhatsApp is not very far from other messaging platforms where the same things happen, so overall we are talking about similar problems for almost all existing messaging platforms.
WhatsApp will continue this campaign in the coming months in order to raise the pressure that is being put by those who criticize it for the lack of security, so it will be interesting to see what it will say.
