Android: Google Imposes a very IMPORTANT New Change

Inappropriate Android

Android has a new and very important change imposed by the Google company that will have a substantial impact on the way users use their mobile phones when installing dedicated applications from the Google Play Store. More precisely, those at Google have decided to rethink the rules for applications made using Javascript, Python, or Lua, so their developers will have to follow a set of stricter rules.

Android is used by billions of people around the world, but unfortunately the applications that are offered do not always have the best possible experience, and sometimes their developers take advantage of users to steal their data and more. Google wants to make these thefts more difficult, but not only that, so that from October it will impose a new set of rules for Android applications that use those programming languages, and this will also change the way applications are made.

Android will have also imposed new rules regarding applications that have sexual content, or dating applications, something that comes as a big surprise for many of those who use such applications. Google wants to remove from the Google Play Store the applications for Android that allow men and women to interact only to have sex, or to meet to conclude long-term agreements with such conditions.

“As a platform, we're always excited to support our developer partners, but we're working hard to provide users with a safe experience. We've updated our inappropriate content policy to ban apps that facilitate sex for compensation following feedback from NGOs, governments, and other user advocacy groups concerned about user safety. This aligns our policies with other Google policies and industry norms”

Android will also have removed several of the applications that present explicit sexual content, those from Google being very serious about the initiative to no longer allow such types of applications in the store. Android will also have new rules imposed for applications that offer content for children, Google wanting to better protect children against inappropriate content, as well as tricks that lead to the activation of expensive subscriptions without knowing.

Android will have all these rules applied in the coming months, they will gradually enter into force and will be imposed for the Google Play Store by the American company right from the moment of activation.
