Google is moving the Smart Reply function from Gmail to Docs

Google has announced a very interesting decision for Gmail and Docs users, and this is because the Smart Reply function will be moved from the first platform to the second so that people can enjoy this system including there for editing documents.

Google says that the new feature will be released in the next 15 days to everyone within Docs and will be activated automatically for everyone interested in using it, so it should appear automatically for everyone.

Google will allow disabling this function within Docs, so you won't be forced to use it if you're not happy with it, so you just have to try it if you want, and then you can disable it in just a few seconds without any problems.

“In 2017, we introduced Smart Reply to Gmail to save you time by suggesting quick replies to your messages. Now Smart Reply in Google Docs saves you time replying to comments in Docs by suggesting relevant replies.

Smart reply suggestions appear below the reply box on English comment threads. You can choose a suggested answer or write your own. Smart Reply joins the automatic Smart Compose and spelling correction announced in January 2021 to help you compose comments in Docs quickly and confidently."
