Romania: The Activity of Vaccination Centers Reduced from Nou

Romania Activity of Vaccination Centers Reduced Again

Romania is again reducing the activity of vaccination centers due to the very low number of people who are immunized during this period, and this shows how bad our country is in terms of immunization at the national level.

Until recently, Romania had reduced the vaccination activity from 12 hours to 6 hours in 26% of the centers in the country, but the decision was made that it should be reduced everywhere to only 6 hours, the activity to be increased only after more people they will want to get vaccinated.

"Regarding the activity of the vaccination centers, as we know, at the moment, approximately 26% of the vaccination centers that were active at the national level have their activity temporarily suspended.

Approximately 60% of the vaccination centers that are currently active, i.e. 603 centers, have their working hours reduced to six hours and we have sent, following some evaluations that we periodically do regarding the efficiency of the vaccination centers, that the working hours of all vaccination centers to be reduced to six hours instead of 12 hours during the next two, three weeks.

Depending on the addressability that we will register, surely the program can return to its original form or we can reactivate certain centers that have been temporarily suspended. We expect that in the next period, due to the increase in the number of cases, at the national level we will also have an increased or increasing addressability for vaccination."
