DACIA Duster 3 is the next series of SUVs that DACIA is preparing to launch for customers all over the world, but it must come with a series of mandatory changes in order not to be laughed at. More precisely, you know for sure the fact that DACIA Spring only got one star in the Euro NCAP tests, even if in the center there was a lack of accident prevention systems, but the same problem existed in Logan 3, and for DACIA Duster 3 it need major changes.
DACIA Duster 3 will be a car in which those from DACIA should increase the level of safety for drivers anyway, but it is necessary to go beyond the usual improvements that do not increase the selling price. In order not to fail the Euro NCAP tests, DACIA Duster 3 needs advanced safety systems to prevent both accidents with cars and pedestrians, plus stability systems that automatically control the car in certain situations.
DACIA Duster 3 needs improved safety systems
The new SUV will be launched in 2024, with presentation in 2023, so it will most likely have all the systems that exist in Logan 3, Sandero 3, maybe Spring, but it needs more than that. Even if Duster 3 will be part of the category of cheap SUVs from which expectations should be limited, there will still be enough who will put a price on what the people from Euro NCAP will say before making a purchase, so the results they will count.
If we're being honest, this is a car designed to be produced at as low a cost as possible, so we shouldn't have exaggerated expectations regarding the additional safety measures that could be implemented. It is impossible for DACIA to implement the newest and best safety systems in the DACIA Duster 3, and still sell the car for under 20.000 euros, so we shouldn't expect it to get more than 2/3 stars at Euro NCAP tests.
The new car will still be interesting for a lot of people, and that's because it will have enough novelties for the money that DACIA will ask for it, so the sales should be quite encouraging.
