WhatsApp: The OFFICIAL Message for Billions of iPhone and Android Users

WhatsApp sends a very important official message to the billions of subscribers around the world, the messaging platform bringing to people's attention something that many of them should know, and which they should put a high price on. WhatsApp is starting to promote much more intensively the fact that the application for iPhone and Android offers total encryption for the messages we send or receive through the platform, and the USA is the location where everything is done.

WhatsApp is trying to convince more Americans to use the messaging application, and one of the key elements in the promotion campaign for it is full encryption for the conversations that people make on iPhone and Android. Considering that iMessage already offers this for several years, and WhatsApp is far behind other platforms from this point of view, but also that it has been involved in many scandals, there is a need to promote the system.

WhatsApp: The OFFICIAL Message for Billions of iPhone and Android Users

WhatsApp chose to promote the encryption of conversations with an ad featuring a postman delivering letters and packages that have been opened beforehand, telling people that the messages they send through other platforms can be read by anyone. The reality is that yes, SMS messages can be easily intercepted, just like WhatsApp messages in the past, but now the company claims that this is no longer possible thanks to the total encryption done for data transfer.

WhatsApp promises to offer total protection for the messages we send or receive, as offered by Apple, Telegram, Signal, and several other platforms, even though there have been quite a few scandals regarding the interception of messages sent through this platform. Every time those from WhatsApp decided to intervene in the face of these accusations and tell people that in fact the messages cannot be intercepted, but of course everyone thinks what they want, in the end.

WhatsApp still has a lot to do until it manages to convince many people of the fact that it really offers total encryption for its users' conversations, so it remains to be seen how many people will be convinced with advertisements of this kind.
