Ukraine has a good part of its territory occupied by Russia during the almost 5 months of war, and you can see in the map below that the estimates of the president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, according to which 20% of the country's territory would be occupied by the Russians, they kind of turn out to be true, unfortunately.
Ukraine is fighting very seriously with the Russian army to defend its territory, but unfortunately it is not always able to cope with the numerous attacks that are launched by the Russians, and this is very clearly visible in the maps below that show the advances made by the invaders until now.
Ukraine constantly receives state-of-the-art weapons from the Western world, but despite this, it does not have enough to repel even all the attacks launched against it, but also to protect all the cities that have been hit by Russian missiles recently, with damage very significant.
