The statements of the Minister of Defense from the Republic of Moldova come just a few days after the president of the country, Maia Sandu, says that there are many concerns about the fact that the war in Ukraine could expand including on the territory of the country whose president he is.
"Currently, the citizens of the Republic of Moldova must feel safe. Russian forces are carrying out combat actions in the south-east of Ukraine, a distance that ensures our stability.
Despite the fact that explosions caused by Russian missiles are still sometimes heard in the southern areas of the country, there is currently no imminent danger of possible aggression or military operations on the territory of the Republic of Moldova.
