Russia has taken an extremely important decision for the evolution of the war in Ukraine, one that produces its effects every day in which the two countries are involved in the bloody battle started in February, and this is because significant Russian army forces are placed close to the borders of northern Ukraine.
The strategy of the Russians is to keep as large a contingent of the army as possible in the north of the country in order to force Ukraine to have significant troops in that area without sending them to the southern front, where the Russians are constantly attacking and want to conquer more territories than the ones they have conquered so far.
"Russia is strengthening its military presence on the northern borders of Ukraine. According to the General Staff, Russia continues to maintain forces in its Bryansk and Kursk border regions to force Kiev to maintain a military presence away from eastern and southern Ukraine."
