DNSC brings to the attention of Romanians a new online danger which is represented by a phishing campaign that is currently taking place in Romania, and which focuses on SMS messages, as you can see in the message below.

We are talking about a phishing campaign that focuses on the old method of tricking people into accessing unknown websites to see what kind of supposed packages they are getting, but in reality people are made to either download applications, or attachments, with malware, or give up their personal data.

A new #phishing attempt exploits the use of courier services, which during the season discounts have a much more intense activity. Many of the users fit this scenario because they should receive a package.

Be vigilant and carefully analyze the information received, before taking an action that could lead to the infection of the device or the loss of sensitive data!

Avoid accessing links or attachments in unsolicited messages from unknown sources.

Avoid providing personal data, financial data or login data on such sites and always check in your internet browser that you are on the legitimate site!
