The Minister of Education sends an extremely important announcement regarding one of the measures taken recently for Romanian education, one that will have a major impact at the national level, and this is because a recent Emergency Ordinance comes to the aid of higher education and students.
The Minister of Education says that this Emergency Ordinance will allow the correlation of the requirements of the labor market with the capacity of the education system to train specialists, so that the students who will graduate from the universities of the country should find a job more easily in the field for which they have learned.
"The Emergency Ordinance through which Romania fulfills two more PNRR milestones, adopted! The legal framework is created that allows access to European funds in direct relation to achieving results in the implementation of reforms and public investments, established by Component 15-Education.
By fulfilling the first milestone, it will be possible to achieve a direct, much more effective connection of Romanian higher education to the demands of the labor market, correlated with the improvement of the national education system's capacity to train specialists, in a way adapted to the economic and social dynamics in Romania.
At the level of the national education system, it will be possible to follow a complete dual education route from pre-university education to university level. Through the second milestone, complementary services of the toy library/playground type are regulated in localities where the capacity of nurseries/kindergartens is deficient, thus ensuring a unitary, inclusive and quality system for early education, as well as increasing access for older children up to 6 years old at early childhood education services.
I was honored to participate today in the graduation ceremony of the "George Emil Palade" promotion of the Faculty of Medicine of the "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy, organized at the National Arena. The entire ceremony was marked by emotion and admiration for the largest academic community in Romanian higher medical education – 12.500 students, of which 2.000 are foreign students.
