A Russian Mi-8 helicopter was destroyed by the Ukrainian army near the city of Bakhmut, the video clip below shows the moment the helicopter is hit by a surface-to-air missile launched by Ukrainian soldiers from what appears to be a the area quite close to the aircraft.
The pilot of the Russian helicopter managed to keep it in the air for quite some time before it crashed, but despite his efforts, the helicopter hit the ground with force and caught fire, something that shows us that no matter how hard the Russians try to avoid the attacks of the Ukrainian army, they do not always have the chance to do this successfully.
