The Minister of Health made a series of last-minute announcements with the very important decisions that were taken for millions of people from all over Romania, and this is because we are talking about the completion of the evaluations for the 46 files submitted for financing through the PNRR some infrastructure investments hospital.
The Minister of Health talks below about how important these are for Romania, but also about what kind of impact they will have in the future for all Romanians, so it is important that this process was finally completed, because the investments expected by to millions of Romanians can be implemented.
"The team of the Ministry of Health has completed the evaluation of the 46 funding files submitted within the call for new public hospital infrastructure related to PNRR. Of these, 42 met the eligibility criteria provided in Government Decision no. 1237 / 2022 and will enter the next stage of analysis in order to award the score according to the evaluation methodology.
The list of the 42 eligible investment objectives was published on the website of the Ministry of Health, in the PNRR section. Three investment objectives were rejected because they exceeded the maximum budget of 199.99 million Euros/project, related to PNRR financing, according to Government Decision no. 1237/2022.
They will be able to be financed from other budgetary sources. One objective was rejected because it was not included in the predefined list of 49 investment objectives entered by the Ministry of Health in the mandate of the previous Government (the Cîțu Government) and approved by the European Commission. Of the predefined list of 49 objectives, no funding requests were submitted for four.
Following the application of the prioritization criteria approved by Government Decision, from the 42 eligible files, a minimum of 25 investment objectives will be selected within the PNRR related budget. The final list will be made transparent for decision-making in January and will be subject to approval by Government Decision.
There are 3 more victims of the accident that took place on Friday at the entrance to Pasajul Unirii. All patients are stable. The patient hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit at the Floreasca Hospital has a favorable evolution and will be moved to the surgery unit today."
