WhatsApp, the largest messaging platform in the world at the moment, is secretly working on a major change regarding the transfer of conversations between Android phones, so that in the next period a new option will be available within the application for this trial.
WhatsApp is going to offer us the possibility to transfer conversations from our phones to other devices using a new option that will be available in the application's settings menu, and which should simplify the process, or at least that's what we know now that it's in development period.
WhatsApp would allow this process to be carried out only between phones with the Android operating system, as you can also see in the name of the function that is available in the settings menu, so in the case of iOS, the Move to iOS application will still be needed, which must to be installed in our phones.
WhatsApp is secretly developing this major change for Android at the moment, so it is not very clear when it should be available to everyone, but even with it, it is still recommended to make backups of your conversations in Google Drive so you don't risk losing them.
WhatsApp has certainly received a lot of requests from users to implement such a functionality, especially since the process itself of transferring conversations between phones is not that simple, and it has long needed radical improvements made by to the American company.
