The Romanian Army continues to train with the American soldiers who are deployed in Romania as part of NATO at the moment, so below you have an announcement regarding the collaboration within the instructions that took place in Romania.

83 years of existence celebrated by multinational training!

January 31st is a special date for the 21st Mountain Hunter Battalion "General Leonard Mociulschi" from Predeal. This marks 83 years since the establishment of the structure by order of the General Staff no. 20571 of 31.01.1940.

Predelen mountain hunters celebrated as they know best, through instruction. This time, in the winter mountain training camp in the Diham military lodge district. Alongside the Romanian soldiers, there is also a platoon belonging to the 1st Battalion/ 502nd Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division of the United States of America.

During the training period, the aim is to train the basic skills for the American military in training on skis, but also to deepen some specific notions of alpine training.

At the same time, one of the objectives of the training is the standardization of the procedures along the lines of tactical training, so that the soldiers from the structures that prepare in the Diham district can work integrated within an exercise.

On the anniversary watch for the "General Leonard Mociulschi" 21st Mountain Hunter Battalion, 22 professional graded soldiers were promoted to the rank of major, in recognition of their merit and dedication to the unit's training activities.
