iOS 16.4 was released by Apple last evening, and the complete list of changes for iPhone and iPad is available below, all the news being offered directly from the moment the new version is installed in the devices.

Apple decided to implement many novelties for users all over the world, which comes as an extremely good measure, especially since it was also necessary to solve some problems encountered in the regular use of iPhone and iPad.

This update includes the following improvements and bug fixes:

  1. 21 new emojis, including animals, hand gestures and objects, are now available in the emoji keyboard;
  2. Notifications for web apps added to home screen;
  3. "Voice Isolation" mode for cellular calls prioritizes your voice and blocks out ambient noise;
  4. The Duplicates album in the Photos app offers extended compatibility to detect duplicate photos and videos from an iCloud shared photo library;
  5. VoiceOver support for maps in the Weather app;
  6. Accessibility configuration for automatic dimming of video content when flashing lights or strobe effects are detected;
  7. Fixes an issue that could prevent "Request to Purchase" requests from children from being displayed on parents' devices;
  8. Fixes issues where Matter compatible thermostats may stop responding to commands when paired with Apple Home;
  9. Optimizations of the "Accident Detection" functionality on the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models.

iOS 16.4 can be installed by any user with eligible iDevices directly from the menu Configurations > General > Software Update, Settings > General > Software Update.
