One of the best and most popular navigation software for iPhone / iPod Touch the world Navigon has a new update today, during the day it will be launched in AppStore version 1.5 of the application.
Navigon 1.5 it comes with some goodies: first of all, it has integrated Twitter si Facebook giving us the possibility to send the 2 social networking sites data regarding the current location but will allow the application to calculate the distance/time required to the destination and to display them through Twitter / Facebook; secondly, the function will be introduced MyRoutes which will collect data about the user's driving style and depending on the day of the week, the time of day, and several other factors will calculate the best route to reach the destination, the taking application being practically personalized for each user. Here's what he says Gerard Mayr, representative of Navigon :
"With NAVIGON MobileNavigator MyRoutes for, we are integrating application for the iPhone NAVIGON one of the most used functions available on our latest generation of PNDs. Users will have a route calculation even more tailored to personal driving habits, "says Gerhard Mayr.
Navigon 1.5 it will also bring other features such as: Google Locals, the possibility to visit a site by simply entering the coordinates, but also a new 3D interface with certain facilities made available by NASA, but this facility will have to be purchased separately from the application.
Navigon 1.5 will be released today in AppStore and it seems to be quite an interesting update.
Am Navigon 1.4 pe telefon alaturi de TomTom si IGO dar parte proasta a Navigon-ului e ca nu stie in Romania decat strazile importante din orase…Altfel se misca mult mai bine decat IGO.
@Ilieşi: Nu`i adevarata afirmtia cu orasele, depinde acum totusi in ce oras stai, eu m-am descurcat ok cu el, dar e sub iGo in ceea ce priveste acoperirea Romaniei.
merg si eu pe iGO cel putin pentru RO, dar problema la el este ca pierde enervant de des semnalul..eu sper intr-un update pentru iphone, sau ceva mai detaliata RO pe Navigon care e destul de dragut, dar cu acoperire slabuta la noi
oare nu se poate face nimik ca sa importi harta Romaniei de pe iGo pe Navigon??
@Bogdann: Sunt aplicatii diferite si hartile sunt codate diferit, nu cred ca e posibil sa faci asa ceva..
eu am folosit destul de mult igo prin romania.. doar in romania tin sa precizez si am fost multumit tot timpul mi-a mers perfect si niciodata nu a pierdut semnalul 🙂 tin sa precizez ca l-am folosit cat si in orashe mici si prin dealuri si coclauri si cat si prin orashe mari:)
@damn: Stau intr-un oras mic…Reghin… poate orasele mai mari sunt mai bine acoperite dar oricum e sub IGO la acoperire in RO
@Ilieşi: Eu am folosit Navigon si iGo in mai multe orase mici din Moldova si diferenta dintre ele nu era prea mare, ambele recunosteau destul de bine strazile, problema era cu semnalul, la Navigon fluctua cam des.
