Secretary este un tweak lansat in cursul acestei seri in Cydia, iar el are rolul de a deveni o secretara pentru posesorii de iDevice-uri. Tweak-ul este conceput pentru a recita mesajele primite de catre utilizatori si notificarile acestora, astfel incat noi nu mai trebuie sa le citim singuri. Tweak-ul recita intai numarul de apeluri pierdute, mesaje necitite si notificari pentru aplicatia Calendar, acest lucru intamplandu-se cand conectam iDevice-ul la un set de casti hands-free sau la un car kit. Separat de aceasta functionalitate, tweak-ul citeste mesajele noi primite de catre utilizator, ideea fiind de a ne ajuta sa tinem ochii tot timpul la drum atunci cand conducem.
Reads messages and missed notifications. Secretary reads you the number of missed calls, unread messages (including their content) and calendar notifications when you connect your BT headset/car kit or wired headphones. In addition to that, it will read you all new messages received, either over the headset or over the phone speaker. No more fishing for your phone while driving to read an incoming message or to check if you missed some notifications while you were outside. Both SMS and iMessages are supported. Secretary can speak in all Text-to-Speech (TTS) languages supported on iOS (please see screenshots for the complete list). You can adjust the volume and the speaking rate to best fit your needs.

An example English version of the message when you connect your headset: “You have some notifications. Missed calls: three, unread messages: one, calendar events: two. Message from is: …”. Secretary is supported on iPhone 3GS or newer and iOS 6.0+. You can adjust its behavior in Settings/Secretary.
