New iPhone virus

lockbackground For some time now, a virus has been circulating in Australia that also affects iPhone owners. The virus was created by a hacker called ikee and only affects jailbroken iPhones that have SSH installed. Careful! only phones with jailbreak and SSH installed can be affected and this is not the only requirement, that phone must have the root password unchanged, if root password was changed by the user then the virus cannot access the phone. To learn how to change your password root of the phone, see the tutorial this.

But what does this virus do? Not much it seems: first of all, change the root password of the phone, block access via SSH and install the wonderful pictures below representing Rick Astley, in each picture the message "ikea is never going to give you up". It is not a virus meant to destroy, but to draw the attention of iPhone users to the risks they expose themselves to by installing SSH and NOT CHANGING the phone's root password. The virus seems to have spread only in Australia through telephone operators Optus/Vodafone/Telstra, and due to the fact that it scans the operator's 3G network, it infected only those who were connected to the Internet via 3G. To date, the number of infected phones in Australia is only 100+, so it could disappear as quickly as it appeared. There is also an uninstall method, but I don't think it makes sense since I don't see it ever reaching us.
