Above you have a video of what is supposed to be new iPhone HD, the video was made by Gizmodo, I don't know where they got hold of this prototype, but it is the one shown in the pictures from Engadget. It seems that the Gizmodo they also disassembled it and confirmed that it is indeed one iPhone, the design of the sides and the back are different, the positioning of the card is different again, now we will have Micro SIM pe iPhone and last but not least, the camera seems to be better (probably 5 megapixels) and as a novelty it has LED flash!

It seems that this prototype has a slightly smaller screen than that of the iPhone 3GS, a 16% larger battery, but although it is unconfirmed, it would have a resolution of 960×460.

It would seem that this prototype was running iPhone OS 4.0 before it was found, but Apple would have remotely deleted certain files and that is why this terminal can no longer be started, nor can it be restored to iPhone OS 4.0 because each device it has its own version of iPhone OS and there is no version for it yet.

iTunes and Mac OSX recognize this device as an iPhone, iTunes would allow a restore for this device if there was a compatible iPhone OS version, but considering that there is not, we can only make assumptions.

This iPhone HD prototype is 4.50 inches long, 2.31 inches wide and 0.37 inches thick and weighs 140 grams, compared to the iPhone 3GS which weighs 135g and a battery of 5.25Whr vs 4.51Wher on the iPhone 3GS, and although Engadget was quick to say that it has a capacity of 80GB, the people from Gizmodo remain reserved, saying only that since they cannot open it, they will not make estimates regarding the capacity of the new terminal.

I like the design of this prototype and I think that if it really is the future iPhone HD, Apple will be successful with it. What do you think, do you like it, would you buy it or not?
