MuscleNerd has just published a Windows version of redsn0w 0.9.5 beta with which you can jailbreak iOS 4.0 GM for iPod Touch 2G and iPhone 3G but you need a carrier card to jailbreak the phone- ul because the hacktivation will be included in the redsn0w version released after the final iOS 4.0.
So who has a neverlocked phone or does not care about decoding and has the phone card of the operator on which the phone is coded can download the version for can install iOS 4.0 GM and the windows version of redsn0w 0.9.5 beta and jailbreak without problems.
I repeat, YOU WILL NEED THE OPERATOR'S CARD ON WHICH THE PHONE IS CODED to enable iOS 4.0 GM, so this version of redsn0w DOES NOT activate, DOES NOT decode anything AND THERE IS NO DECODE SOFTWARE FOR BASEBAND 05.12.01.
