iPhone X is presented with a jailbreak made on iOS 13.1.1 thanks to the new bootrom exploit which was published just the other day. The entire procedure took only two minutes, according to the person who did the jailbreak, but of course applying a permanent jailbreak will take longer.
For now, this jailbreak is semi-tethered, meaning it needs a computer for re-implementation after every reboot. In order for the jailbreak to become tethered, an exploit is needed that is legal than the one in the bootrom, so that every time the phone is restarted, it is automatically exploited.
HACKED! Verbose booting iPhone X looks pretty cool. Starting in DFU Mode, it took 2 seconds to jailbreak it with checkm8, and then I made it automatically boot from NAND with patches for verbose boot. Latest iOS 13.1.1, and no need to upload any images. Thank you @qwertyoruiopz pic.twitter.com/4fyOx3G7E0

This bootrom exploit allows performing a tethered jailbreak on any version of iOS for iDevices released between 2011 and 2017. Of course, hackers are also needed to develop jailbreak solutions, whether tethered or untethered, and the one doing the demonstration is not will take care of it.
No one can guarantee that such jailbreak solutions will arrive very soon, so it remains to be seen what exactly will be offered.
