iTunes 9.2 is available for download since last night and since last night I warned you NOT to update to iTunes 9.2 because it will block the jailbreak made with Spirit and you will have to restore the phone, uninstall iTunes 9.2 and reinstall iTunes 9.1 to be able to jailbreak Spirit.
The Dev Team has officially confirmed that iTunes 9.2 affects the jailbreak made with Spirit both for those who already have a jailbroken terminal with Spirit and for those who are thinking in the future to jailbreak with Spirit so refrain from installing iTunes 9.2 and wait until next week when the final iOS 4.0, iPhone 4 and the most likely decoding and jailbreak program for iOS 4.0 will be available.
The warning above applies both to those who own an iPad tablet and to those who have an iPhone/iPod Touch that they have jailbroken/want to jailbreak with Spirit.
