The morning will said that a new version of redsn0w is in the works and through this you will be able to implement some options right from the moment you jailbreak and this version was LAUNCHED by Dev Team. redsn0w 0.9.5 beta 5-2 works ONLY with iPhone 3G/iPod Touch 2G, jailbreaks ONLY for iOS 4.0 and gives you the possibility to activate the following options:
- Multitasking;
- The option to change the wallpaper in SpringBoard;
- Enable battery percentage.
These options are not natively supported by iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G in iOS 4.0, but if you jailbreak with this version of redsn0w, you can activate them by simply checking them in the corresponding boxes in redsn0w. For now, I do NOT recommend updating to iOS 4.0 unless you have a neverlocked phone or you won't care if your phone is decoded or not! You can find a tutorial for jailbreak with redsn0w here, of course you have to use the appropriate firmware for iOS 4.0.
