Gameloft has released a new trailer for SPider-Man: Total Mayhem, a new game for iDevices that will be available next month in the AppStore. Gameloft is perhaps one of the best companies producing games for iDevices, but I don't like this version of Spider-Man at all. The game will be structured on 12 levels, it will be full of fight scenes and of course you will be able to fly from one building to another using the spider's web. Those from Gameloft also introduced slow-motion for certain "actions" of Spider-Man, but it remains to be seen how everything will look in the final version.
From what I've noticed, the script follows quite faithfully the plot of the comics, so if you're a fan of the series, you'll be happy to know that the main characters appear in the game. In addition to Spider-Man, you will also find: The Sandman, Rhino, Electro, Venom, Goblin and Doctor Octopus, the main hero fighting each of them to achieve their goals. I don't know what you think about the game, but I repeat, I was expecting something much better and more complex from Gameloft.
