In the video clip above we see what appears to be the new Nokia X7 in a hands-on video gaming test. The terminal is in the development stage, runs Symbian 3, has an 8 megapixel camera and 4 speakers mounted on the corners of the terminal. If it hadn't been so oriented towards gaming, I would have understood the positioning of those speakers, but given that a racing game requires the positioning of the hands over the corners of the phone, then I don't really understand how the Nokia engineers thought when they positioned those speakers there. Anyway, the terminal has a 4-inch screen and a rather strange shape, maybe too strange for my taste.
I would have expected Nokia to produce some more competitive smartphones and give up the much too old Symbian, but it seems that there is no chance and it's a shame because Nokia is still a big company that is slowly losing in favor Android/iOS/Windows Phone 7.
