At the Mobile World Congress 2011, some very interesting toys were presented, more precisely some cars that can be remotely controlled via Bluetooth by an iOS or Android device. Most of the cars available are modeled after the real world Mini and as shown in the videos they seem to be real sources of fun. Considering that we are talking about a Bluetooth connection, the cars must not be more than 15m away from your device, but the big advantage is that the built-in battery allows up to 3 hours of autonomy.

A car that can be controlled from an Android device costs €49, while one compatible with iOS is €20 more expensive, the difference being given by a controller that must be licensed by Apple. The cars are controlled through special applications available in the AppStore. To be honest, the idea is very interesting and I would be tempted by such a car considering that the price is more than ok.
