GarageBand will also be available for iPhone/iPod Touch

Recently, the Apple company was registered a invention patent for the GarageBand application for iPad 2. During the conference on Wednesday, Apple presented to the whole world how the GarageBand application can be used on an iPad 2 tablet and how useful the application is for beginners. Using GarageBand you can control some of the most "popular" musical instruments available to artists, they can only be used through touch controls. Whether it's about the keys of a piano, about the strings of a guitar or about a drum system, they can all be controlled directly from the Application and as we intensify the action on the instrument, the volume also increases. Personally, I am extremely amazed at what Apple has managed to do, it is really revolutionary and soon we will have this application available for the iPhone as well.

Apple presents us with a block diagram of a system for detecting onsets in a target audio signal in the time domain. Yet the key to this patent figure is found in Patent Point # 492 as outlined in yellow above. According to Apple's patent "the data processing system could include one or more computers (eg, a desktop computer, a laptop), a smartphone, personal digital assistant, etc.

The patent registered to Apple shows as clearly as possible that smartphones can be used to control the application in exactly the same way. Of course, we are talking about a much smaller screen and limited functionality, but so far we have seen some bands that used iDevices to compose and reproduce songs. For now, it is not known when or if the GarageBand application will arrive on an iPhone or iPod Touch, but I personally think that we could see it in the summer in iPhone 5 and iOS 5.
