If you have an iPhone 3GS with an iPad baseband, then you know for sure that an update to iOS 4.3 will result in receiving error 1015 near the end of the process and blocking the terminal in Recovery Mode. Unfortunately, TinyUmbrella can't get you out of Recovery Mode yet, as it happens on old versions of iOS, but tomorrow we should have a modified version that will be able to do this. iH8sn0w has tested the new version of TinyUmbrella on both Windows and Mac OS X and tomorrow it should be available for download.
After its launch, you will be able to update to iOS 4.3 even for iPhone 4 while keeping the baseband intact and then you will be able to remove the terminal from Recovery Mode after receiving error 1013.
