NBA Jam is the newest sports game from the EA Games portfolio and I have to admit, it looks very good. The game was officially launched a few months ago in the AppStore, it costs €3.99 and promises to bring the spirit of the NBA into your "hands". EA Games managed to introduce 30 teams from the NBA in this game, managed to make a fairly good graphic engine and a suitable gameplay. In addition to the players of the 30 included teams, you will be able to unlock some legends of American basketball such as Dennis Rodman, Scotty Pippen, or Karl Malone plus some other "secret" players that can only be unlocked on the iPhone/iPod Touch.
From a graphic point of view, everything looks very good, except for the players' faces, which in my view are very badly done. I can criticize only one thing about the gameplay, the fact that if you get near the basket, the players start scoring baskets by themselves without you doing anything to them. That's all about NBA Jam, I couldn't recommend it because I don't think it's that great. Today EA Sports also released a lite version of the game that you can download from the link below.
