Some Italians thought of making one comparative test between the performance of the iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 terminals, both running iOS 5. As you can see, the difference in performance between the 2 devices is minimal in terms of opening applications, opening Notifications Center or navigating through menus. The only function in which there is a notable difference is browsing the Internet and you notice that the iPhone 4 loads pages faster than the iPhone 3GS, otherwise the device works just as well with the new Apple operating system.

Although I said that the iPhone 3GS will be limited in terms of performance and functionality in iOS 5, for now Apple proves me wrong and I hope that the final version will work at least as well as this beta version. I hope that Apple will not think of imposing other limits than those for photo editing and I hope that when the iPhone 5 is released it will not limit the performance of the 3GS, I hope I am not right and I hope that the tradition with the iPhone 3G and iPhone 2G not to repeat.
