OTA updates, Wallpapers and iMessage in iOS 5 beta 2

If you had iOS 5 beta 1 installed in your terminal, then you surely noticed that the menu for OTA updates it will not recognize the Wi-Fi connection. The problem was with the way iOS 5 worked, more precisely Apple did not correctly configure the option for OTA updates in iOS 5 and it was impossible to install iOS 5 beta 2, for example. In iOS 5 beta 2, Apple solved this problem and when accessing that menu, a query is made to the Apple servers to determine whether or not there is an update available. If the update exists, then it will be automatically downloaded and installed, but in the delta version, that is, only the modified files from iOS will be downloaded.

In iOS 5 beta 1, the wallpapers in the system were not displayed for certain people, instead a white border was displayed that did not offer access to anything. In iOS 5 beta 2, the wallpapers were reintroduced by Apple in exactly the same format as before and their activation is done in exactly the same way as before. Probably in the final version of iOS 5 we will see some new wallpapers, but until then we are satisfied with the ones we already have.

The latest news is related to the iMessage service which unfortunately does not work between terminals that have iOS 5 beta 1 and iOS 5 beta 2. Apple has made some changes in the services that control iMessage and unfortunately you must have iOS 5 beta 2 installed to use them use.
