Samsung gives up collaboration with Anymode for Smart Cover clones

I was telling you last night that Samsung has approved for sale a series of Smart Cover clones manufactured by a Korean company called Anymode. The respective cases were branded as accessories checked and approved by Samsung, but today the company announce that she has nothing to do with these cases. Samsung claims that the case manufacturer added that logo to the presentation images without Samsung's consent and that the respective accessories were tested by the company but were not approved to be sold.

As a general practice, Samsung Electronics reviews and approves all accessories produced by partners before they are given the "Designed for Samsung Mobile" mark.

In this case, approval was not given to Anymode for the accessory to feature this official designation. We are working with Anymode to address this oversight and the product has already been removed from the Anymode sales website. The product has not been sold.

It is difficult to say whether Samsung has validated those accessories or not, now in the middle of this scandal blame Anymode and it is certain that the respective cases will not be sold through Samsung stores. The Smart Cases are clones of the Smart Covers of the Apple company and in the last day Samsung was again accused of copying some products of the Cupertino company although the connection between Samsung and the cases was made through the company's logo and the kinship between the presidents of both companies. In conclusion, Samsung is trying to get rid of the "clean fairy tale" from this whole scandal, but probably those from Cupertino will not soon forget this scandal.
