Battlefield 3: Aftershock is the third version of the Battlefield game released by EA Games for iDevice owners. This year the producer will present the new version of the game at the annual Gamescon conference that will take place in the USA. Unfortunately, not much is known about the new version, but apparently we will have a game very similar to the console version of Battlefield 3, but of course optimized for mobile terminals. The new version of the game should be released for both iPhone and iPod Touch.
The first 2 versions of Battlefield for iOS had a moderate success in the App Store, EA Games offering them at a reduced price in several promotions, but the games did not hold the first places in the top of the most bought applications. The hope is that Battlefield 3: Aftershock will bring a "new air" in the field of shooters for iDevices, but I for one am more than circumspect in this regard.
