Google implements the Instant Pages function in the Google Search application for iOS

Google Search is the official application of Google for iOS and yesterday Google updated it by implementing some interesting and useful functions for iDevice owners. The new version of the application launched yesterday brings some new filters for the search menu of the application, of course it also brings the list of categories available in the mobile version for some time and overall the application from Google represents a much better way to search the web. The most important function implemented last night is called Instant Pages which allows web pages to be pre-loaded before the user clicks on a link. Google analyzes the user's behavior during the search and based on this predicts which pages the user might load and pre-loads them so that when we click the page opens almost instantly. The system is of course experimental and hasn't worked as it should for everyone yet.

Here are all the news brought by Google Search 0.9.0.7005:

  • New way to switch between Web, Images, Places and more
  • Improved help screen
  • Removed Calendar alerts
  • Google Instant Pages
  • minor bug fixes

The Google Search application for iOS is of course free and universal.
