    Although we already know in general what the new iOS 5 that will be presented next month will bring, some are still daydreaming about certain functions that we probably won't see soon in Apple's operating system. In the clip above we have a presentation of 5 minutes of some interesting functions that a designer thought for iOS 5, functions that of course are not yet available in the new version of the operating system. Considering that there are many, I will list them all below and you will be able to watch them in the clip:

  • Notifications present in the Status Bar;
  • The ability to manage third-party widgets directly from the Notifications Center;
  • The option to close categories of notifications in the Notifications Center;
  • Displaying received calls through a banner in the Status Bar;
  • The inclusion of a system that displays the received notification message in the application icons;
  • A new application and widget management system;
  • The possibility to add widgets to the Spotlight screen;
  • The option to switch from one application to another using gestures like in OS X Lion;
  • The inclusion of a new set of gestures for managing open applications;
  • The possibility to connect an iPhone and a Mac through a Wi-Fi connection.

     You have seen some of these functions presented in other concepts presented by me, some of them are new and I for one hope that some tweaks will appear soon that will bring us at least some of them.
