WhatsAppMessenger is one of the most popular instant messaging applications currently available in the App Store. In the Romanian application store, WhatsAppMessenger occupied the first position in the top of the most purchased applications for several weeks, so I assume that a good part of you use the application constantly. With the help of WhatsAppMessenger, you can chat with your friends who have iOS, Android or even Blackberry operating system terminals through text messages, but only if you have an available internet connection.
This brings the 2.6.5 update:
- conversation font size change (Settings > Chat Settings > Font Size)
- display divider in group chat to indicate new/unread messages for that group chat
- show recent group locations on the map together (via Group chat Info page > Recent Locations)
- various updates to media browser (data separators, ability to delete, etc.)
- custom notifications per group, with mute option
- fix crash in long URL handling in iOS 4 (bug #9860071)
- do not scroll to the bottom of the conversation when a new message arrives
- options to control audio note playback source (Earphones, Receiver or Built-in Speaker)
- improved "load earlier message" behavior
- voiceover fixes (reported by Rene Jaun and Marco Zehe)
- fix crash on inviting many contacts via email/sms (reported by @marcosjsramos on twitter)
- improve verification security (reported by Andreas Kurtz) and other various verification fixes
- Spanish localization fixes
WhatsAppMessenger is available in App Store Romania for €0.79 but only for iPhone/iPod Touch.
