After months and months in which Facebook postponed the launch of its own application for the iPad tablet and motivated its developer to go to Google, here we finally have the application available in the App Store. This evening the American company officially launched the application for the iPad tablet, which you can of course download for free. The application has a UI specially designed for the Apple tablet and surely many will be happy to benefit from the tablet's 10-inch screen when using the new social network application.
The application launched this evening largely retains the UI of the version discovered this summer by TechCrunch, so if you've tested that one, you'll definitely know what to expect. The application for iPad brings the main functions of the social network plus the possibility to play games in fullscreen mode or to upload photos/films directly from the tablet. The good part is that you can watch Facebook videos in HD on your tablet and stream to an Apple TV 2G using AirPlay.
Together with the iPad version of the application, a new version for iPhone will be launched, which will bring some new functions for the owners of the popular phone.
