One day before the launch of the new iOS 5, which has integrated compatibility with the Twitter social network, the Twitter company launched an update for its own application in the App Store. The version available tonight brings improvements to the username registration system, finally brings compatibility with the photo publishing service and for the iPad tablet we have a new menu for reading/sending direct messages. Also for the iPad tablet, those from Twitter have implemented the possibility to see the tweets published near our location and to use this function we must have the GPS of the tablet activated.
Here are all the new features brought by Twitter 3.5:
- Enhanced sign up experience
- Upload photos to Twitter (pic.twitter.com)
- Updated Direct Messages design on iPad
- Tap a location on iPad to show Tweets nearby
- Bug fixes and minor enhancements
