I was telling you last night that one of the best clones of the MacBook Air designed by the Apple company was made in China. Last night we only presented a picture of the product, but now I have a video clip that shows the clone in all its glory and as you can see it looks almost identical to a MacBook Air. I told you last night that that clone does not have the Apple apple inlaid on the back, but I was wrong, even this design element is present in the case and to be honest, everything looks exactly like a MacBook Air that apparently runs Windows XP in Bootcamp.
The clone designed by the Chinese has the following hardware configuration:
- Intel Atom N2800 of 1.86GHz;
- integrated video card GMA3600;
- 13.3-inch LED monitor with 1366×768 resolution;
- 2GB of RAM;
- 32GB SSD;
- two USB 2.0 ports;
- 3 in 1 card reader;
- mini-HDMI port;
- 4100mAh battery that offers an autonomy of 3.5 hours but cannot be changed.
The clone designed by the Chinese costs only $472, half the price of the cheapest MacBook Air, but of course you will not have the same hardware configuration nor the same experience of Mac OS X. Even so, for $472 you have a very interesting notebook, with a special design and relatively good performance.
