At CES 2012, many smart TVs appeared that tried to bring to users everything that Steve Jobs said would revolutionize this industry: voice commands. Samsung is one of the most important manufacturers of televisions and in the video clip above we have presented its smart television. This TV is equipped with a dual-core processor that runs the software based on which the voice commands and gestures interpreted by the sensor placed, probably on the top of the TV, are recognized. Simple commands such as: turn on/off, volume up/down, channel up/down control the TV, so basically we are talking about something theoretically simple to use.

An editor of Gizmodo tested the TV and was disappointed because of the way Samsung thought the interface and the commands but also because of the slow processing times of the commands. It seems that the TV is not able to understand words as well as, for example, Siri, and reacts very slowly when it recognizes what the user says. Moreover, the people from Gizmodo claim that the interface is not that intuitive and the commands that must be spoken seem childish considering that we are talking about a smart TV.

Take a good look at the above product because if Apple releases a TV it will work in a similar way but probably much better.
