The developers of WhatsAppMessenger warn users not to fall for deceptive emails

Lately, many users of the WhatsAppMessenger application, and not only that, have received emails informing them that the free service offered by the application will soon become paid. To avoid charging the messages sent through the application, users were asked to send a message to at least 10 people from the list and their application icon will turn red and the messages will not be charged. Any person with minimal knowledge about iOS would have caught from this scheme that everything is just a hoax, but many did not realize this, so some messages started to be sent through the WhatsAppMessenger network.

WhatsApp is going to cost us money soon. The only way that it will stay free is if you are a frequent user ie you have at least 10 people you are chatting with. To become a frequent user send this message to 10 people who receive it (2 ticks) and your WhatsApp logo should turn Red to indicate a frequent user.

Above you have one of the messages sent to the users and developers of the application warns us that it is 100% fake and that the application will still allow you to send free messages. Below you have a second message of the same kind and if you receive one of them you will know that they have nothing to do with reality.
