AcePlayer is a multimedia player specially designed for our iDevices that allows us to run almost any kind of multimedia content on our own terminal. The application available for free in the App Store recognizes a variety of multimedia formats: WMV, AVI, MKV, RMVB, RM, XVID, MP4, 3GP, MPG, WMA, RM, ACC, OGG, APE, FLAC, FLV and is able to run even web streams in the following formats: HTTP, FTP, MMS, RTSP, SMB, RTP. Copying files from a computer to the iDevice is done either using the web server available in AcePlayer or the file sharing function implemented by Apple in iTunes. The interesting part is that AcePlayer supports dual-core decoding on iPad 2 and iPhone 4S, so you shouldn't have any problems playing any kind of file.

UPDATE: After writing the article, the developers of the application chose to charge 2.39 euros for its download, so be careful because you can no longer install it for free.
