Yesterday, Parrot released version 2.0 of the FreeFlight application in the App Store, which allows users to control the two versions of the Parrot AR Drone available on the market. The application gives users total control over all the functions of the device, so we are talking about the possibility to guide the device but also about the option to record video content directly from the camera mounted in it. The new version of the application brings an opportunity to do a new trick using the helicopter and the option to manage the photo/video library more efficiently plus some other novelties:
- Absolute control piloting mode
- New acrobatic move: the Flip
- User interface revamp
- New section ""Get your AR.Drone 2,0""
- media manager
- Recording capacity (photo/video)
FreeFlight 2.0 is available for free in the App Store, but it only works properly if you have a Parrot AR Drone to pair it with.
