In OS X Mountain Lion, Apple will bring us Messages applications that will allow us to initiate conversations via iMessage with any other Mac/iDevice owners. The Messages application will replace the old iChat application and of course it will give us the opportunity to log in to Yahoo or other services, but satisfied a tweak we will even be able to see the timeline of our own Twitter account. A developer managed to implement the Twitter timeline in the Messages application, in the image above you can see everything and as soon as OS X Mountain Lion is released we could have the tweak available.
Of course, everything you see there will be improved until the official launch, so we will probably have a complete Twitter client directly in the Messages application, but it remains to be seen first how Apple will modify the entire application.
