iPhone 5 and iPad Mini would be presented in different Apple conferences

Ever since it became clear that iPhone 5 will be presented at a conference that will take place on September 12, there were also rumors indicating that the tablet iPad Mini it will still be available then. Although it seemed hard to believe that Apple would launch two very important products then, some continued to support this idea, but it seems that things will not be like that. John Gruber and Jim Darlymple, two people with strong relationships within Apple, says that this year Apple will organize two events in which it will present the "stars" iPhone 5 si iPad Mini.

I'm thinking it makes more sense for Apple to hold two events. First, an iPhone event, focused solely on the new iPhone and iOS 6. Then, the iPhone ships nine days later, and there's another wave of iPhone-focused attention as the reviews come out. Then, in the first or second week of October, Apple holds its traditional "music event", exactly along the lines of the events at which they've been debuting new iPods for the last decade. (Maybe more of an "iTunes event" than just "music event", given the rise of other media like TV shows, movies, and books.1

Without going too much into boring explanations, I will tell you that Apple will not present two important products at the same time in order not to dilute their popularity and impact. If the iPhone 5 and iPad Mini will be presented at the same event, it is clear that neither of them will get the full attention they need and Apple is not focused on such a thing. Apple will first present the iPhone 5 and iOS 6 on September 12, let the world do its job and promote it on the Internet, then when everything starts to calm down it will organize a second event in which it will present the iPad Mini, the new iPod- uri and what products are still in development.

Otherwise, there would be no way for things to stand, considering that we are talking about extremely important products that need all the attention of the world map.
