AT&T simplifies the process of decoding iPhone terminals, no matter where they are

For several months AT&T decodes iPhone terminals who were purchased without a contract or for which the contract has expired and all claims have been extinguished. Many Romanians managed to decode their terminals purchased through AT&T, and now the operator has simplified the decoding process of these devices even more. With the help of a new form, available on its website, AT&T offers everyone the opportunity to request the decoding of their device without sending emails to its technical team and without finding employees via chat.

AT&T's form you can find it here but you must have available all the data required there. AT&T for now decodes and some terminals still under contract, but you have to fulfill some requirements that the operator's employees tell you.

AT&T appears to be performing iPhone unlocks for some customers whose contracts are still in effect. According to an Ars forum thread, numerous posters were able to unlock their devices after submitting unlock requests to AT&T, despite the fact that many of them still had time—sometimes a lot of time—left on their contracts. This seems to go against AT&T's publicly stated policy that it only performs unlocks for users who are no longer in "active term commitments."
