Podcasts is an application launched by Apple a few months ago, it is specially designed to separate the podcast section from the iTunes application into a new application. A lot of people use Podcasts, it allows a much easier management of podcasts from the iTunes Store, and now Apple has updated the application. This version brings the possibility to automatically download the new podcasts published in the feeds you are subscribed to and largely solves the functionality problems of the previous version.
Podcasts 1.1.2 includes a number of improvements, including:
• Tapping a podcast in Top Stations now reveals episodes you can play
• You can now easily turn on automatic downloads for all subscribed podcasts in Settings
• Addresses an issue where previously played or deleted episodes unexpectedly reappear as new
• Resolves an issue where Podcasts may unexpectedly play after a phone call or alarm
• Includes additional stability and performance improvements
