Google Maps for iOS it has been available for only two hours in the App Store, and those from Google made some clarifications about their new application. The design of the application is very well conceived, from my point of view, and according to a journalist of New York Times, Google would have recognized that Google Maps for iOS is superior to the version for Android. We are talking here about design and presentation, because in terms of functionality, the iOS application was left without support for the iPad and without the function of offline use of maps.
Google admits that it's even better than Google Maps for Android phones, which has accommodated its evolving feature set mainly by piling on menus.
These small "slips" will be corrected in the near future, Google confirming to the journalist that they will implement both features in a future update. For now, Google Maps for iOS has satisfied a lot of people, it was normal that there would be people who are not happy after this release, but we will see how things turn out in a few days.
