IERI (Yesterday) the Google Maps application for iOS was launched in the App Store, extremely many users were happy to see it in the Apple store, but unfortunately it was designed to work natively only on the iPhone/iPod Touch. Google has promised to release a version for iPad in the near future, but until then the application can only be used in 2x modes on the tablet.
